I suppose I'll go first...
It all started for me in 2006. I sat down that summer after just graduating high school to watch the world cup. At that time I didn't know or care a thing about football much less Arsenal. To my surprise I loved watching the matches and saw as much of it as I could. Long story short...my favorite player from that tournament was Thierry Henry. Months went by after the tournament and I found myself missing football so I started researching the players from the world cup and their domestic clubs. Of course I eventually stumbled upon Arsenal and immediately grew a liking for the club. Henry played there, the badge was sweet, the jersey was awesome, and they played so beautifully. Back then we still had the likes of Hleb, Toure, (in form) Rosicky, and Lehman. Fabregas and RVP were budding stars and Henry was our fearless leader. My interest culminated into full on Goonerism in late November of 2007 when we hosted man utd. Rooney (c*nt) scored early in the second half and utd led until RVP equalized with eight minutes left or so. Then, in stoppage time, Henry headed an Eboue cross past van der saar and even Andy Gray couldn't help praising an effort against utd (usually he's busy pissing himself with every Ryan Giggs pass or fergie tactical change). I went crazy and knew without a doubt I'd be a Gooner for life!
Other great moments for me include the champions league win at the San Siro a few years back and last year against spurs at home when fabregas scored 11 seconds after RVP got our first. Oh, and cant forget the emotional 3-1 win at stoke last year after the Ramsey injury.

In a nutshell, world cup 1990 led me to the arsenal. I loved watching the dutch and they had bergkamp. Back then He was still at Ajax. I wasn't a rabid fan until he came to the states in 1994. He left inter and ended up at arsenal. I was able to start following the epl through a missionary friend. Along came Henry and the rest is history.
My favorite memories? Henry's bullet against united. The last game at highbury. Arshavins quad against the scouse. Fabregas' penalty against Barca. This win against Barca.

I think my first soccer experience was the 2002 world cup watching the US team not suck as horribly as they usually do. I remember staying up late and watching the games and they were exciting. Then in 2006 they got bumped out early and the entire world cup in general was really lacking in any excitement. I craved to see more good games. I decided to get into league play and a friend of mine mentioned checking out Arsenal because he has family in England who are fans and he had been a fan for quite a while so he got me going with them and I have been hooked ever since.
